Since I work from home and this #momlife has me full-time tired, most days my beauty routine pretty much consists of a top knot (and not the cute kind) and brushing my teeth. But I’ve made it my mission this spring to start dedicating some time to myself, and spend just a few extra minutes on my daily beauty regime because it makes me feel good.
When it comes to beauty products, I reach for the same tried and true favorites over and over again. Every now and then, I find a new something special to introduce to the lineup. Here are my current top 10 favorite beauty products. Shop everything at the bottom of the post!
Lanolips Lano Rose Hand Cream | I rarely used hand cream before finding this product. And wow, I really didn’t know what I was missing. I put this on my hands right before bed, give it just a minute to really soak in, and it makes my hands feel so silky and soft. I love the light rose fragrance too.
Charlotte Tilbury Swish & Pop Blush | Bronzer season is fast approaching, but I’ll still be using this blush straight through summer. It gives my cheeks a subtle, but beautiful, pop of color and warmth. First I swirl my brush around the lighter, highlighting color and then land in the center for a richer, brighter pink.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel | This ultra-moisturizing gel is like a cool drink of water for your skin. I slather a nice thick layer on my face and neck right before bed, or any time my skin feels dry.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes | It almost feels like I’ve tried every mascara out there. I got this one as a sample from Sephora and it was so good I upgraded to the full thing. It’s great for lengthening and curling lashes—which really helps open up my eyes. And it will help condition your lashes while you wear it.
Tarte Opening Act Lash Primer | When I’m looking for a more dramatic eye, I put on a coat of this lash primer before mascara—it works perfectly with the Lights, Camera, Flashes.
Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer | This is the best, full-coverage concealer ever. It perfectly covers dark circles and blemishes. I love using it under my eyes. I blend it out with a beauty blender and the coverage lasts all day.
Sheseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 | Phew. Say that five times fast! This eye cream feels rich and luxurious. I almost forget I’m trying to prevent and minimize wrinkles when I use it. I dab it underneath and above my eyes before bedtime.
Dr. Jart+ Beauty Balm | This is my favorite beauty product of all time. I know, that’s a serious claim. It was recommended to me by a good friend about 7 years ago, and I’ve used it faithfully ever since. Unfortunately, it’s one of the pricier products I use, but I promise you, it’s so worth it, and a little goes a long way so it lasts for months. It’s a moisturizer, sunscreen, treatment serum, BB cream, and light makeup all-in-one. It gives me just the right amount of coverage for everyday, reduces redness, and evens skin tone.
Eva NYC Clean It Up Shampoo & Soften Up Conditioner | After having a baby, my hair was in rough shape. No one really talks about it, but while you’re pregnant and hormones are kicking, your hair is full, lustrous and grows like a weed. Afterwards, just about the opposite happens. I found this shampoo and conditioner at Costco and after giving it a try, I promptly stocked up. They don’t always have it in stock, so you have to keep an eye out for it. Or, you can also shop it below. This duo makes my hair feel soft and more manageable, while giving it nice body and a little shine.
NYX HD Studio Finishing Powder | I use this powder under my eyes, over my concealer. This is a great, affordable dupe for Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder (which I love). It helps keep the eyes looking nice and bright!
