My computer froze no less than 10 times while I was working on this post. And now I’m almost certain I’m going to see that mean, spinning color wheel in my dreams/nightmares. Technical issues are kind of zapping my creativity at the moment, so all I can say is it’s a good thing it’s Friday!
Y’all, it’s Friday! Let’s get this weekend started. Here are some of my favorites right now:
I’ve always loved this look and thankfully you can find it just about everywhere right now. Luella & June put together a list of some of the best off-the-shoulder tops out there.
Succulents are my kind of plants. First of all they’re super low-maintainance and they come in the most beautiful colors. Any time we go to Home Depot, I stop by the gardening department and take pictures of the varieties of succulents…like a weirdo. This watercolor print by Aaron Apsley caught my eye on Instagram.
The combination of fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil is a match made in heaven. Add some peppery arugula and avocado to the mix and that’s my kind of salad. You can find the recipe for this simple and fresh salad on Foodie Crush.
These Denim-Color Stud Earrings
I have a soft spot for Kate Spade jewelry—it’s usually colorful and fun, yet simple. I’m especially loving these denim-color studs. (Hey, did you catch my Springtime Accessorizing post last week?) You can find these earrings at Nordstrom.
Hello, gorgeous. Is it pool season yet? Let’s start a countdown, ok? Found on McCann Design Group.
About this time each year, I make the big switch from hot coffee to iced. I want to try my hand at making my own iced coffee and I especially like the sound of this Fresh Mint version from How Sweet It Is.
Thanks for the words of wisdom, Pinterest.
Pineapples + Bright Floral Arrangements
Is it just me, or are pineapples having a moment? They’re everywhere! This pineapple turned floral arrangement just screams fun. Found on Turbulences Deco.
Confession: one night this week, my husband and I had pancakes for dinner. And, not just any pancakes—there were chocolate chips and bananas involved. I know. Growing up, my mom made pancakes every Sunday, so those fluffy, warm, round cakes hold a special place in my heart. I was reminded this week of a Cream Cheese Pancake recipe from I Breathe, I’m Hungry. I haven’t made them in a long time, but if you enjoy a thinner, crepe style pancake that literally involves 3 ingredients, give these a try!
See you next Friday! xx, Devon
